Shake Your Bootie!

img_7012After moving to a new apartment this Summer, I vowed to “Shop My Closet.” But…these Fall/Winter beauties beckoned. And I am a firm fashion believer in the adage that shoes make your outfit. Give me jeans, a simple top and an amazing pair of Booties, and I’m good to go. Hope you enjoy!

img_6967img_6983So beyond basic black. I’m sure Gucci has a bazillion dollar version of these, but Topshop has a winner on their hands. Every single time I put these on, I smile. And every time I wear them, women stop me and say “I love your boots. Where did you get them?” Here’s where! In case they are out of your size, how about these or these?

Feeling blue? These velvet booties might lift your mood, and they will definitely elevate your look. They are Stuart Weitzman Exclusively for Bloomingdale’s. I love them and see them as an “investment” piece that pays off for years. You saw them in this post. Steve Madden has a nice (and more affordable) version, too.

img_7019These silvery Zara Slip-ons are pretty magical. Check out the round heel! Unfortunately they are sold out. But like these and these.

img_6969Ready for red? I am. And while I don’t normally go for bright colors in Fall/Winter, I’m loving these. And the angled heel gives them a designer  look (but not designer price tag). You saw them in this post. I’m thinking their next outing is with jeans and a top, possibly all black with just this pop of red.

img_6979I’m pretty much obsessed with these Black Velvet Booties. Rhinestone studs? Comfy round toe and low heel?  I’m your forever girl! They’ll be featured in a post later this week. Also from Jeffrey Campbell: this and this.

img_6987I scored these Lucky Brand taupe-y grey suede booties at TJ Maxx. I’m going to wear them around JC but think they’ll make their home up at our cabin. Unless I decide I love them so much they have to commute with me! Sold out but like these (on sale!) and these.
