Finding My Balance

For the last 18+ months our world has been anything but ordinary. In many respects, it’s been terrifying. But as COVID vaccines and breakthrough treatments rolled out and infection rates fell, it did feel like we could finally breathe a collective sigh of relief. With Thanksgiving around the corner and Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa coming up, I want to celebrate with family and friends. In person, not virtually. And I’m sure you do, too. So unless we are forced into lockdown, I’m not going to panic, I’m going to mask up, and I’m going to do whatever I can to find my balance throughout whatever comes our way.

Keep It Casual

This black-and-white look is all about looking pulled together when you’re looking forward to some down time. Full disclosure: I shopped my closet for most of it, but that’s because by sticking to this classic palette, it was fast and easy to style old pieces into a brand new look. Sure, keep it casual. But keep it chic, too.

OK, we’re not talking Members Only tracksuits. But we are talking workout-inspired, easy does it. We shot this post in our neighborhood park, but I could easily see myself in this look for a day of meetings around NYC. Think it would be pretty great for traveling as well. Pair these track pants with heels and a cami, and you have a pretty cool dinner outfit, too.
