Sweater Goals

When we head up to our cabin in the Adirondacks, we’re headed to a more peaceful place, a more peaceful pace. Pretty much the opposite of our city lifestyle. Instead, like everyone who loves it up in the North Country, we’re focused on being outdoors and appreciating the outdoors. The crisp, fresh air, the breathtaking mountains, acres of forest, pristine lakes and streams, night skies filled with stars. No need to dress up, just dress for the weather!

Wild Things

IMG_2204With Daylight Savings this past weekend, I was wishing Spring felt closer. (You hear that, Groundhog!) Up at our cabin, temps dipped below zero. Made for drinking wine and playing Scrabble by the fire but not for debuting any new “warmer weather” fashion. So…I pulled together a Best Of Look that features some of my favorite “wild things” pieces. Apologies to my PETA followers. I’ve included fur-free options for you too.

Rainbow Country

This past Sunday it was our typical round of chores before heading back to “reality” — dump run, Sugar House Creamery for milk, yogurt and more, plus a quick check in at one of our favorite local stores, Big Crow Trading. Must be in the air, because everywhere I looked I saw rainbows! Oh…and lots (and lots) of taxidermy. And I’m sure you noticed that Bowie wore his rainbow stripe sweater, too.

Hello 2017!

img_9631It’s January 2nd and I don’t know about you but I feel like the year is off to a fast and furious start. I am booked solid on a slew of exciting TV and Digital projects, which as a freelancer is the best start to your year. But I also don’t want to ignore LAS. It will be hard for me for the next month or so, so I hope you’ll hang in there. It means so much that you do!
