Sequin Season

‘Tis the season to sparkle, right? While I’m not one to say no to some shimmer and shine any time, it does feel most appropriate for the days ahead. Especially for New Year’s Eve! With a scene-stealing faux fur jacket like this one, it might be hard to take in just how stunning this skirt is. But trust me, it’s one for the books. And your wardrobe.

And To All…A Good Night!

So seriously, are we all maintaining our sanity in the run up to Christmas? I surely hope so! I consider myself lucky in that I have 3 full-blown millennials who are not obsessed with wanting some particular “thing.” (Remember Furbies…XGames…Lego…phew.) So now I have fun searching out cool stocking stuffers (skull ice cube trays, beer’d wash, can’t disclose more!), and then we write them a check to help them on their way however they need and choose. We trust that they’ll make good decisions, maybe even put some away in a savings account. So…in the name of last minute Christmas suggestions, here’s a post with some millennial vetted gift suggestions!

Plaid Tidings

Tartan has been trending all Fall long, and it looks to be holding strong all through the winter months ahead. If you’re like me you already have a plaid scarf and plaid flannel shirt (or two) in your wardrobe. So when I saw this dress it was a “gotta have it” moment. Aside from its holiday-ready color palette, its midi length and classic, tailored silhouette make it as versatile as it is flattering.

Holiday Sweets

Pretty pink faux fur vest, plush sherpa sweatshirt, the perfect white booties, denim finished with pearl and gem sprinkles, and a pom pom beanie on top…this look is as sweet as it is simple. It’s also an outfit made up of five great gift ideas that you can pick and choose from — for those on your list or maybe even yourself.

Stripe it Bright

‘Tis the season for sparkly brights, and while I didn’t specifically buy this metallic striped sweater for the weeks ahead, it has such a fun holiday vibe. I’ve styled it on the more casual side for this post, but I’ve got big plans for dressing it up in the days (and months) ahead. We’ll be spending the holidays in Los Angeles, and I think it’s going to look amazing with a pair of white jeans and black patent sandals. That might even be my Christmas Day outfit!
