It may be Spring, but we just had another snowstorm and kids are playing in the park in snowsuits! Oh April, why so cruel? We want to pack away those turtlenecks and down jackets and get pedicures and wear florals, but you are killing our fashion agenda! So if I can’t beat you, I will join you. In the best coat, possibly ever. I LOVEV LOVEV LOVE this coat and wish it were mine. See more below! Seriously, it’s a compliment magnet, from fashion-wise women, which is the most fun.
This color-blocked pea coat with leather trim is beyond fabulous. And for now it’s mine thanks to Rent the Runway. Its unapologetically bold update of a classic silhouette is what takes it from ordinary to extraordinary. In fact, one of my favorite fashion bloggers asked about it on this post. Ironically, I had just placed my RTR order for this very coat! For most items, you do have the option to buy. I’m hoping this might be an option for this piece, as I do think think this is a piece I will be so happy to add to my wardrobe long term. My only advice…if you see something that speaks to you…own it!
UPDATE! I just bought this fabulous coat for under $200! It was originally priced at $795!!
Underneath, it’s still sweater weather. I wear grey A LOT and I love this emoji one! It makes grey a little less somber, shall we say. One of the women in our pet supply store has it too. So cute! These split-hem jeans are from last season but will still be going strong into Spring and beyond. Basically any kind of hem distressing — even DIY — is the way to go. As for shoes, these are old news Guccis but, guess what, still amazing. I’m not kidding when I say they put a skip in my step. LOVE! My bag? Vintage Coach I scored it in Plattsburgh New York for $20. You never know where the fashion hunt will take you…and it never stops!
