Greetings, fierce fashionistas. The Urban Dictionary defines this classic Yorkshire term (you go, Brits) as “Calm down!” Well, I’m feeling calm, but I’m not feeling Fall. Yet. It was 93 degrees in Jersey City yesterday! So it might just be this tropical jungle weather that’s got me feeling all tiger-y. (Yeah, not a real word, but it works.) Or, it might be WhoWhatWear x Target, the collection that’s killing it this season with all things animal print. (Excuse the non-PC pun, please.) Read on for all the details about what I’m wearing these days, especially this on-trend, tiger stripe top that’s an easy, versatile and affordable way to add this must-have print to your Fall wardrobe.

First Fall Haul!
Even though it’s still t-shirt and sandal weather, I’m starting to think about Fall. And this is my first haul! Some bought in-store, some online. Not a ton of stuff, but some key pieces that I see myself wanting to wear again…and again. Where to start? Hard to say. I love each and every one of these AFFORDABLE finds.
Stripes on Stripes
This is definitely a “might be too much but go for it” look. And I’m glad I did. It wasn’t planned, though I was dying to feature this fantastic VB for Target skirt. But for me that’s fashion. You get something new that inspires you, and you let it fly from there. Contrasting stripes (or patterns, like my last Flower Power post) are on the fashion radar, so I just decided to put my spin on it. I also wanted to shoot in front of this really cool new JC street art. So…kismet I guess.
DIY: Pom Poms & Pedicures
‘Tis the season to get your tootsies out there. But first…a confession. This isn’t a complete DIY. Yes for Pom Pom sandals, kind of for pedicures.
All About Athleisure
OK, we’re not talking Members Only tracksuits. But we are talking workout-inspired, easy does it. We shot this post in our neighborhood park, but I could easily see myself in this look for a day of meetings around NYC. Think it would be pretty great for traveling as well. Pair these track pants with heels and a cami, and you have a pretty cool dinner outfit, too.
