Jacket Required

There’s no easier or quicker way to polish an outfit than by layering on a well-tailored blazer. I already own one in classic black (seen here) but that feels a bit too formal and dark for Spring’s lighter, brighter days. So when I spotted this caramel-colored double-breasted jacket, I instantly knew it was headed to my closet and into heavy wardrobe rotation.

Green & Glam

Without getting too deep, sometimes a fashion find seems to speak to you. It’s not just saying “buy me.” It’s saying “wear me and make me your own.” “Dare to step out of your comfort zone.” “Go ahead…strut your stuff.” And that’s exactly the inner dialogue this glam green velvet dress and I had. Well, that’s how I choose to remember it.

Happy Blog-versary to Me!

Last week, in the midst of more important life moments, I realized that Life’s a Spritz has officially made it through year two. Which makes Fall 2018 my second Blog-iversary (baby steps!). Not earth-shattering but still something I’m proud of. What have I learned? A lot. However you make it your own, blogging is hard (but fun) work, a potential source of income (don’t quit your day job…yet), a way to discover and learn from and even meet lots of cool, unique and inspiring people. What have I accomplished? The balloons are a calorie-free celebration of hitting over 2000 Instagram followers…and counting. And I’m about to receive my first affiliate program payment. (Yay!) I’m ready, set, go for year three. Hope you are too. Most of all, thank you for following and for your support and enthusiasm on this journey.

Ready, Teddy!

Teddy Coats are having a serious fashion moment this winter. And these super-soft and fluffy toppers are a trend that’s easy to cozy up to. Not only do they look good, they just feel so darn good, too. Best of all, the Teddy Coat is NOT a budget buster. (Hint: this one is under $65!) There are so many cute options to choose from, in a range of lengths and colors. For me, the classic cut of this Teddy Coat means that as of-the-moment as it is, it will stand the test of time. And I just love the pop of raspberry on the sleeves.
