Can you believe we’re already a week into 2024?!? It’s been very grey and sorta cold here in the Northeast, with our first snowstorm supposedly on the way. Not exactly the kind of weather that inspires a great outfit. But dress up (or down) we must. And nothing adds more razzle dazzle to your look than a hit of sparkle here and there.

As far as my winter wardrobe goes, grey is probably my go-to hue — as seen over the past years here, here, here and here. And I will never say no to some sparkle, even for daytime. Not to mention I can’t resist cashmere when it comes to sweaters. Donni’s Sweater Rib Simple Pant is crafted from super-soft fabric and features a wide leg fit, elastic waist, and just the right touch of texture. Color-blocking adds another level of visual interest to both the sweater and beanie.

Doubling up on knit pieces is a simple way to stay cozy and look chic, especially when you stick to a monochrome palette. A matched set is fun and fuss-free, but you don’t have to build your look that way. You can deconstruct your head-to-toe look and pair your top with a different bottom, and vice versa.

I’ve always been a fan of suede, especially when it comes to footwear. And these booties are a fave option. Love their round stacked heel.

When it came to outerwear, I went with a white puffer vest. Black would have been a great alternative as well. And a puffer jacket always works.

My über sparkling neckpiece is from an old Martin Margiela x H&M designer collab. It definitely makes a statement! And that’s just what I wanted. Same for this sparkling sequin bag.
