Confession. I think some of the sparkly sunshine we’ve been enjoying (until today!) got to me. This look, my mood. So it was easy to go for the gold in planning this post. All together, this gilded outfit makes quite the statement. If it’s too much for you (aw, c’mon), why not try adding one pop of glitter to a more toned down look? I promise it will make you smile. And it works wonders on others, too.

Statement Maker
It may be Spring, but we just had another snowstorm and kids are playing in the park in snowsuits! Oh April, why so cruel? We want to pack away those turtlenecks and down jackets and get pedicures and wear florals, but you are killing our fashion agenda! So if I can’t beat you, I will join you. Get Your Gingham On!
I will be the first to admit I thought this combo was, well, maybe just a bit too much. But…I love it! In case you’ve missed it, gingham is having a moment. As in you need some. Stat. I personally am a sucker for fabrics and patterns that remind me of my girlhood and my Mom’s awesome sewing prowess. We wanted a dress….she whipped it up. Even for our Barbies! Sadly, I lack her skills but think of her every time I put together something “smashing.”

You’ve probably read numerous Wardrobe Must Have features. I know I have. Three pieces that always seem to make the list: White Shirt, Skinny/Straight Jeans, a classic pump. My closet already houses several white shirts/blouses and undoubtedly too many pairs of jeans. But there’s always room for a shoe that takes classic to killer.
