Here in JC and NYC, Mother Nature continues to be ambivalent about Spring. So while Summer is officially only about a month away, we’re still wishing she’d make up her mind and gift us with some steady sunshine and warmer temps. As you might guess, it’s made it pretty tough to break out my new fashion favorites and share them with you all. Until this past Sunday…

I’m crazy about each of the four pieces in this post — on their own and together. First, this seersucker blouse is, well, everything. It’s from the Uniqlo collaboration collection with British fashion designer, JW Anderson. Let’s just say I’ve been a sucker for seersucker since forever. And the colorful plaid pattern, ruffled accents, button front and bow-tied cuffs all add up to a silhouette that’s both classic and unexpected. Perfect! While I’ve paired it with white jeans here, I think it would look super cute with denim shorts or a khaki pencil skirt. I snagged these white girlfriend jeans with frayed hem on sale from Banana Republic and am so glad I did. I’m loving the cleaned-up and contemporary tailoring that’s both flattering and stylish. What’ I’m loving even more is that they are engineered in an extra-soft cotton blend with special technology to resist water, oil and stains. So now you can wear white without the worry!

When it came to accessorizing this look, I had to break out this adorable round rattan crossbody bag. In case you’ve missed this must-have trend, basket bags of every shape and size are definitely something (or in my case, some things) that you need to add to your Spring/Summer wardrobe. The only downside is that there are just so many darn cute and chic options out there. I dare you to stop at one! My llama sneakers are actually from last year, but good news, they’re back by popular demand. Designed with a cork footbed and luxe (but lightweight) navy velvet slipper, they feature a fuzzy embroidered llama created by Australian artist Cat Rabbit. Trust me, every time I wear them I get stopped and complimented on them. That’ll put a spring in your step! Not to mention they are uber comfortable. I also think they’d look adorable with a sundress.

Best of all, Chris and I combined shooting this post with an al fresco Happy Hour at one of our favorite JC spots, White Star Bar. Cheers to that, right?
