So Long Summer 2016: Slip Into This

The slip dress is all over the runways, magazine editorials, top blogs. But unless you’re 20 something, “winging it” with this look is not for the faint of heart, especially over 50. My solution? Your favorite tee. It allows you to dress with the support and coverage you want and wow with a look that’s of the moment.

This design was a Carine Roitfeld (former Editor in Chief of Vogue Paris and basically Total Fashion Icon)collaboration  with Uniqlo. I loved it the minute I saw it – pattern, color balance, fit. And price! It will be featured in a fall post for sure but spoiler alert — it’s already had a dry run in rainy, cold Turin last February and won rave reviews. Not to mention, it’s eminently packable for every climate. Go find yours!
