Minimalist for the Money

Black is the epitome of a fashion go-to, because it’s season-less, easy to dress up or down, looks good on every body type at any age. It’s subtly, simply impeccable. There’s been a lot of buzz lately about “quiet luxury” or “stealth wealth” dressing (à la “Succession”), but it really just boils down to a classic, minimal head-to-toe look in neutral colors. And pssst…you don’t have to buy super expensive designer brands to achieve it.

Birds of a Feather

Post after post, I try to feature sensible shopping, inventive wardrobe rotation, and purposeful closet purging. But sometimes a girl has to fall for a fashion flight of fancy and splurge on something she doesn’t actually need but truly (truly) covets. Like this feathery blue shirt. And it was easy and inspiring to build a brand new look around it — with mostly pieces I already own.

Favorites for a Reason

I don’t know about you, but I sat out Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Not Giving Tuesday and that made me feel fabulous! What else makes me feel fab? An outfit of timeless classics shopped straight from my closet. You probably have your own version of these pieces waiting for you to wear them. And if not, I have a few suggestions you might want to check out.
