Go Fourth and Be You

Flags, fireworks, frankfurters…however you celebrate, the 4th of July is America’s quintessential summer holiday. And let’s face it, any combination of red, white and blue is one color combo that never gets old. So if you’re looking for a little inspo on how to refresh your summer wardrobe (and maybe a bit of deeper thinking), this post is for you.

Getaway Glam

Summer is the season for getaways, right? Even if it’s to the stunning roof deck atop your apartment building. But more on that later. First, let’s focus on this floral-print top and skirt that together create a maxi dress effect, with each piece upping its fashion potential when paired with other pieces. Meaning you just might need to pack up a look like this, too!

Parlez Vous Tried & True?

It’s pretty hard to beat a tee and denim duo. That might be why I can’t resist a fun, fresh interpretation of each. FYI, I’m never in favor of statement tees that use “bad” language or scream a faux sense of cool. But this sweet little tee made me smile. And think, mais oui, I must add you to my wardrobe.

Little Black Dress…Not

Everyone needs a go-to LBD…or two! What’s fun about this look is that it’s actually two separate pieces that create the effect of a versatile summer dress, BUT each piece can go it alone. Imagine this one shoulder ruffle top with your favorite pair of white or blue jeans. And this eyelet skirt with a white or even neon (!) tank now and a chunky cotton sweater come Fall. Think you get where I’m going. When I shop I’m always on the hunt for something new and different, but also something that will be an “ADD” to other pieces that I already own.
