Although these days there’s a slight chill in the air, the sun still feels strong. So it’s the perfect time to layer favorite season-less wardrobe pieces and show them off — before we have to pull out our puffer coats and go “undercover.” Sticking to a black-and-white palette makes pulling any outfit together, this one included, pretty foolproof.
For now, this fitted black denim jacket with pretty puffed sleeves can go it alone over your top of choice. When it gets chillier, I’ll layer it under a wool coat or down jacket. A pussy bow blouse is a classic option that every wardrobe could use. I can see this one with a sequin skirt for a holiday party or dark wash jeans and booties for brunch. For sure, it’s ultra versatile, can be dressed up and down, and has been in heavy wardrobe rotation since I scored it.
I love how black embroidery adds an artisanal touch to these cropped leg pants. Now that cooler temps are prevailing, I’m pairing them with black booties. Once it gets warm again, they’ll look super cute with a black tank and sandals.
The finishing touches? A bold designer belt that I’ve worn more times than I can count and that’s been well worth the investment price tag, a fun striped tote, and always stylish aviator sunnies.
