Frock Around The Clock, Look 2

Well, here we are with a second transitional look that should see you and your favorite summer midi through Fall…and beyond. I first posted this dress here. It was part of an Olivia Palermo x Banana Republic collaboration. As you would expect, every piece was on another level. Sadly, I don’t think year two is in the works, but again, it’s super easy to re-think your favorite summer midi dress just like this. Promise!
So I know YOU have a jean jacket in your closet. Who doesn’t? What I love about this one is its fitted silhouette, cool frayed edges, snap closure, and a touch of stretch. It’s definitely a jacket that works for early Fall days layered over a dress, but will look fab layered over a turtleneck or under a coat once there’s a a chill in the air.

And once again, can we talk about these booties? I posted about them here, but seriously they are amaze-balls. Not too high of a heel (you can walk…everywhere!), microsuede fabrication (looks and feels like the real thing), bridges the top trends of Sock and Western when it comes to a bootie, AND…wait for it…they are under $40! Yaassss!! I’ve already bought them in 2 colors, and I’m thinking third time is the charm. Thank you Target once again for your fashion genius!

Last little touches — a channeling my “Parisian Woman Chic” beret (complete with jeweled studs) and a super fab bracelet handle bag that was so perfect with this look I just had to have it. It also gave my whole vibe a fresh new feel. And that’s all good, right? Happy Fall!

Dress: (Banana Republic, old) but this, this and this (size up!) are some my Fall faves.

Jean Jacket: (Kut) If you already have a classic jean jacket, this is definitely a fun, fashion-y option to add to your wardrobe.

Booties: (Universal Thread x Target, seriously they are awesome…in every color!)

Beret: (Zara, no longer available online) How cute is this, this and this, too.

Bag: (Zara) Also  love this (if you’ve inherited a lot of money) and this (great style, great deal).
