Orange Ya Glad to See Me

Bright, happy, uplifting. Orange is often described as a high energy color. It’s known to elicit feelings of enthusiasm and excitement. Think sunsets and citrus fruits. I don’t know about you, but orange just looks and feels like summer to me.

Love how this orange tank pops against wide leg white jeans — the pant silhouette that’s all the rage right now and a sweet, swingy alternative to your skinnies. Comfy and chic! Such a simple combo but one that packs a powerful punch of summer style. And I think orange can be a universally flattering color — no matter your skin tone or hair color. Plus it’s just fun to wear.

I shopped my closet for accessories to complete this look. A pink/orange/white silk scarf tied as a belt, a colorful woven bag from my 2018 trip to Bogatá, “have a nice day” layered necklace (don’t mind if I do!), and woven slides in buttery leather.

Now for an Aperol Spritz!

Tank: (A New Day @ Target, several other summery shades too)

Jeans: (Banana Republic Factory, sold out, current style here and 50% off!)

Bag: (One-of-a-kind market find in Colombia) Loving this, this and this (cute kids size for a mini bag look and under $20).

Scarf: (old, J Crew) Similar colorful vibe here and here.

Necklace: (House of Terrance, sold out) Fun alternatives here, here (you will not believe the price!) and here.

Sandals: (old, Chloe) Great options here (pompom embellished) and here.
