Is there an easier outfit to put together than a great pair of jeans, sneakers and a white tee? While the building blocks of this look might seem pretty basic, they don’t have to be. That’s where unique graphics, pops of color, and unexpected accessories make all the difference.
Given that this is July 4th week, the color palette of this outfit is a fun way to celebrate — without getting dorky or controversial about it. For starters, I’ve been wearing this versatile white jean jacket (shopped from my closet) on repeat. The tee is a new find from a super cool Japanese brand. Not your Target steal, but the quality and design is outstanding. I always love a dark wash jean, and these flares are no exception.
For accessories, I jazzed thing up with a sequined “evening” bag. Why not! Retro sneakers are always a vibe. A white belt, especially a high quality leather one, is right on point for summer. And this sweet beaded bracelet spoke to my heart. It’s from Little Words Project. Founded by Adriana Craig, Little Words Project was her answer to years of bullying. Adriana started making bracelets in college for her sorority sisters. The wearable affirmations reminded them of their worth and got them through the tough times together. Ten years and millions of bracelets later, the Little Words project community is living proof that kindness is a superpower. Don’t tell anyone, but I’m ordering a batch for my next girls trip.
