We decided that given my gimpy post-surgery foot, celebrating in Savannah made more sense than roughing it in the Adirondack mountains. And I’m thrilled to report that I stuffed my foot into a sneaker today! Woo hoo!! Next up? These glittery winter-white Crocs.

When it comes to jeans, I’ve always been true blue to a cuffed, straight leg silhouette. I have even been known to buy jeans in a Tall length — just so I can get an extra big cuff. This pair also features a super high waist. Again, a look and feel I fully endorse.
When I say the day we shot this post was hotter than Hades, I’m not kidding. The entire Northeast was experiencing an epic heatwave that had all of us in meltdown mode. So pulling together this look was more about staying cool than looking cool. I did my best to achieve both.
